The NRFL would like to welcome Joey VanLaningham, "Coach V" to the NRFL team!

Coach V was formerly a Speed and Strength Coach at the University of Texas and Kansas State University. Coach V has also worked with Dr. Phil McGraw on the Dr. Phil Weight Loss Challenge reality show as the Head Trainer for the show's participants. Coach V has worked with many high school, college and professional athletes.

The NRFL would like to welcome Linebacker Roderick Johnson who started in The Big 12 for 3 years at Oklahoma State from 2005-2008.

He played in the Texas vs. The Nation Pre NFL Draft All Star game, was invited to the New York Giants pre training camp workouts for the rookies, and played in the CFL for a year.

The NRFL is proud to welcome former Michigan State, NFL Europe World Bowl Champion, and New York Jets' running back Little John Flowers to the league.

Little John is in the Top 100 in the Big Ten for kickoff returns (17; 83rd) and kickoff return yardage (307; 92nd). Little John led NFL Europe in rushing touchdowns in 2005, and won a World Bowl with the Berlin Thunder in 2004.

The NRFL is proud to welcome former SEC Coach of the Year, Coach Billy "Dawg" Brewer to the league. Coach Brewer will be the GM and talent evaluator of the East team during the NRFL Kick Off Weekend in Las Vegas.

Coach Brewer was a player and coach at Ole Miss, twice on National Champion teams (1959 and 1960, as a player). Coach Brewer was named the SEC Coach of the Year in 1986. During his 11 year tenure at Ole Miss, he led the team to six winning seasons and five bowl games.

Ole Miss named him to their "Team of the Century" in 1993. Coach Brewer also had head coaching tenures at Louisiana Tech and Southeastern Louisiana. He played professionally with the Washington Redskins.
